For anyone who has to overnight at Heathrow the night before a flight home, this is a must restaurant. All the hotels on Bath Road have the same menu and it’s garbage. This fantastic little restaurant is affordable and has a huge selection. It’s always delicious and great portions. The staff and ownership are beyond friendly. I stay at the Moxy and it’s just around the corner. If you are closer to the airport it’s a couple stops on the H94 bus. You won’t be disappointed!

This was such a pleasant surprise! We had a canceled flight, exhausted from scrambling to our airport hotel, walked here from the Moxy and had one of the best meals of our whole trip. The mixed grill plate was amazing with perfect portions, flavorful marinades on the meats, fresh chips and a tall frosty Super Bock. Husband and I shared the pudding (flan) and it was probably top 3 flan we have ever had (and we hail from Panama, Miami, southwest US). It brightened our whole day! Staff was super friendly and the restaurant is cozy. Food is the real star here though!

A jug of wine and earthy Portuguese dishes such as seafood paella or grilled meats proved ideal for the weary air traveler that I was. This is a no-nonsense diner with fast service, hearty food, a bar area for local regulars, and a pastry and sundry counter. Might as well be on a Lisbon side street! (While this name and ownership is relatively new, this restaurant is very similar to the old Cafe Moniz that used to inhabit the same location for many years. Toca is an improvement. )
